Thank you Commissioner Lewis. I have lived in the township since June of 1972 and to my knowledge, you are the first commissioner that has taken the time to actually update the residents of Susquehanna Township on police reports, road construction and updcoming projects. You will definately have my vote is you chose to run again. I am so pleased with your one on one contact and your prompt response.
Yes, the Kohn Road project has been very frustrating for the residents in the area. We have had 3 occassions when our water has been shut off over night. The mud, the trucks and the lack of knowing when the project is scheduled to complete has many of us at whits end. My normal commute from my house to Interstate Drive is 1.3 miles and 5 mins via Kohn Road. I now travel 2.4 miles and it takes 11 mins. Not that this is so inconvenient but it's just so frustrating to have to go so far out of the way for such a long time. In NY City, they build multi-story sky scrappers and traffic patterns never change. SMILE.
