Biography 

        Tracey S. Lewis, Esquire, a native of Harrisburg and graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, became Susquehanna Township's 3rd Ward Commissioner in March, 2008.  In this capacity, she serves as Chair of the Building and Grounds Committee, Vice Chair of the Highway Committee and liaison to the School District.  In addition, she is a member of the Industrial and Commerical Development Corporation which was formed to carry out Tax Incremental Financing for the Kohn Road Improvement Project.  Two of the major projects for which she is responsible is the disposition of the Township's old highway building located at 1098 Edgemont Road and serving as liason between the Kohn Road property developer and the affected township residents.

        Tracey attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on a 4-year basketball scholarship she earned.   After graduating from LaSalle, she attended Temple University School of Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree.  Since that time, she has held various professional positions in the private and public sector. The most notable of these positions was her stint in the Office of Philadelphia's former Mayor John F. Street as a Special Assistant from 2000 to 2003. She was responsible for managing contractual disputes, fundraising initiatives and renovation projects, including the redevelopment of Philadelphia’s famed Love Park. Also, she helped to establish the Emerging Contractors’ Program, a support program for disadvantaged businesses, currently being managed by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware, to enable businesses to take advantage of the contracting opportunities presented by former Mayor Street’s $295 Million Neighborhood Transformation Initiative. Prior to that position, Tracey worked in the Law Department of the City of Philadelphia where she was counsel to the City’s Veterans Stadium management team. In that capacity, she handled the facility’s property management issues and contractual agreements regarding the facility’s capital improvements and concessions operations. She has also provided legal representation to a variety of private clients in her capacity as an attorney in the prestigious Philadelphia law firm of White and Williams, LLP. 

        She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the Big Five Basketball Hall of Fame and the LaSalle University Hall of Athletes.
